Profile: John Gillan, PE


John Gillan (Jack) is an award-winning and published professional engineer with 50 years of experience. He oversees all of the firm’s engineering projects to ensure the work is proceeding in accordance with company standards and in compliance with contractual requirements.  He has served as Principal-In-Charge of mechanical and electrical projects worth in excess of $2 billion, and is a specialist in mechanical and electrical design alternatives.  He has an extensive background in feasibility studies, state-of-the-art facility operational planning, municipal facility maintenance planning, facility commissioning initiatives, cost analyses, contract document preparation, and construction contract administration for new and renovated/modernized facilities.


Jack possesses extensive experience in the planning and design of: Hospital and Healthcare; School/College/University; Historical/Museum; Correctional; Federal Building; Air Ports/Air Force; Naval, United States Post Office; Long-Term Care; Laboratory/Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing Facilities; including feasibility studies, Master Planning, and Best-Use Analyses.
